Private lessons can be one-on-one, or you may bring along up to 3 of your friends for the same flat rate of $55/hour. Purchase a package of 4 hours, to be split into 2 to 4 separate sessions, for $200 (a $20 savings). Cycling Series
Cycle 1.0
Introduction to Road Cycling.
Designed with the new cyclist in mind, this clinic focuses on the art of gear shifting, and pedaling skills. Cycling does not come naturally to the human body, but with instruction from our coaches, you’ll cut years off your learning curve, and be riding like a seasoned cyclist in no time!
Cycle 2.0
Rules of the Road & Group Riding.
With knowledge comes safety, and there is something to be learned for all in this 2-hour coaching session. This clinic offers in-depth discussion on rules of the road, and how to stay safe while riding with a group. 30-40 minute lecture with visual aids, followed by coach-led application on the road. Complete this session and you’ll know more about cycling rules and etiquette than most of your cycling friends. Bring your questions, along with your bike and riding gear.
Cycle 3.0
Cornering Skills & the Physics of Cycling.
Mastery of taking a corner is crucial for your safety, as well as those around you. Learn how to corner safely, and efficiently, in all weather and road conditions. We’ll cover 90-degree corners, as well as 180s. What to do in wet conditions, as well as loose gravel or other terrain issues. This course will greatly improve your confidence and handling skills, and introduce you to the physics of cycling.
Cycle 4.0
Climbing & Descending.
This most popular class will have you climbing like a pro in no time! Learn proper body positioning for optimal efficiency & muscle recruitment while climbing, as well as drills that will greatly improve your climbing strength. Descending is all about proper form, let us show you how to increase your stability as you enjoy the payoff from that long climb you just completed. We’ll cover long steady climbs, short steep climbs, and rolling hills. After this session, you will no longer fear the Texas Hill Country.
Triathlon Series
We highly recommend all triathletes complete Cycle 1.0 (if applicable), 2.0, & 3.0 from the above offerings, in addition to the following:
OWS 1.0
Open Water Swimming (OWS), can be the most terrifying aspect of triathlon for many new to the sport. Hire our coaches to introduce you to the challenges of open water swimming. Learn proper pack placement, tips on entering/exiting water, sighting practice, and drills specific to OWS.
Transitions 1.0
The seeming complexity of transitioning from the swim to the bike, and from the bike to the run, can leave even the seasoned triathlete in a state of panic come race day. Learn how to plan your transitioning strategy, keep it simple, and make your race day flow smoothly by picking up these transitioning tips!
